Once I got on the main road, past mom's, it was clear sailing. The hill on the main road at my mailbox was slick and icy, so just had to not stop at the end of my driveway and keep going to make it up. I stopped ok, but it slid a bit after I put it in park. I was going slow, but slid about 2 ft when I stopped on a flat section to walk down and open the gate. I went ahead and went to work at 8, but probably shouldn't have. I know that isn't much at all to most of you, but it's enough to cause issues here. Woke up with half an inch of slick snow on the driveway. Congratulations to all who made their goals and to all who worked on them. I'll have to figure out my stats for the year and look at my goals for next year. I just hope whatever they decide I won't have to wait long (or at all 😁) to run. Hopefully they will either say that I don't need to treat it, or if they think it needs to be removed they will do a needle aspiration to drain it. But now my insurance is changing so if they recommend removing it and I want the insurance to cover it I need to do it this year. I had a CT on it early in November and I was going to wait until after the new year to see if they recommend doing something about it or not. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for a seroma. I sometimes wonder how many critters I pass that I don't see. I was looking for them and then a car drove nearby and three of them moved. My hands were cold, but other than that, I was pretty comfortable. (I really don't know what that is called) and gloves. I wore long tights, sleeves and a long sleeved shirt. That gets me to almost 103 miles and makes it to my goal of 100 miles. I swear I will never complain about tx summer morning weather again (I know famous last words.)ġ2/10: 3.25 miles (Wags and Wiskers 5K) - 1st place overall female I should be happy I only have 3 days of work this week and then another 4 days to get used to running in 70 degree weather. The only saving grace was there was no wind and I was dressed appropriately but I hate wearing lights and after 4 days of sleeping in the alarm was too early today. It's a cluge of cold and slow - "clow" 🐢🐢🐢 Which almost reminds me of a snow plow. I cannot imagine running a half marathon in my house but that weather looks stupid 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 Have you ever considered a treadmill (probably been asked and answered a million times before so sorry in advance)? (sorry Scott and Tarun that # is just outside my grasp) Will try got 130 just to close out a pretty decent month in spite of our cold snap and will put me overy 1550 for the year but no way to make 1600.
